Francesco Maglia, founder of the famous MAGLIA UMBRELLA COMPANY, started work at the age of 14 at an umbrella company in Mantichiari. In 1854, he became partner in a small umbrella business in Verolanova and only two years later moved to Pavia to found his own company. The company then moved to Milan. The present owners, Francesco and Giorgio Maglia are the 5th generation to continue this family business.
Style (full length):
Travellers umbrella Detachable Malacca wood handle with metal plate, detachable wood tip, wood shaft and 10 ribs frame. Manual opening and closing. Made in Italy.
